Great Room Redesign with built ins

Initially, we started talking about updating this family’s existing built-in bookcases.
One thing led to another, and we changed the entire design of the great room!
We decided on a relaxing, pretty pale blue color scheme. We added a stylish fireplace—and the surrounding updated built-in bookcases draw subtle attention to the stunning marble of the fireplace as well as the decorative mirror and lighting above it.
To provide seating for the large family who love to entertain and gather to watch television, I custom-designed the large sectional and oval cocktail ottoman, which were placed over a subtle sculptured rug.
To light the room practically and beautifully, two oversize chandeliers hang over the large sectional sofa and chaise. Custom window draperies flank the large windows, and additional seating—two more chairs with two drink tables—complete the space.
